A memorandum of agreement was signed between the Vietnam National University’s Ho Chi Minh City University of Science and National Chi Nan University in December to offer joint dual degrees.

VNUHCM University of Science was represented by Prof. Tran Minh Triet, who led a delegation to visit the NCNU campus in Nantou, Taiwan on Dec. 19 and 20. Tsai Yung-pin, dean of the NCNU Department of Civil Engineering, co-signed the papers with Triet.

The latest joint agreement applies to dual degrees in mathematics and information technology. Earlier MOAs between VNU and NCNU finalized partnerships in fields including optoelectronic, electrical, civil, and information engineering.
