December 18th, 2019, NCNU OICSA welcomes the Republic of Korea representatives as shown:

  1. Si Jin OH, Director, Center of International Affairs, Sahmyook University. 
  2. Jinhan Yoon, Manager, Institute of International Education, Sahmyook University.

 

    In the session, representatives from NCNU side are Dean of College of Humanity Pei-Hsiu Chen, Prof. Pei-Ling Wang (Chair of Department of Social Policy and Social Work), Prof. Huey-ling Lee (Chair of Department of Foreign Languages and Literature), Wan-Hsian Chi (Director of Master Program in Teaching Chinese as a Second Language), Executive Officer Julianne Lin and Officer Gili Chen. Two sides discussed the possibility for new collaboration in the near future.

   OICSA Manager Julianne Lin unveiled the meeting with nice weather in Puli and significant fortune for the prosperity of two sides’ cooperation, later on, OICSA introduced NCNU from a comprehensive perspective and SU vice versa. The two sides discovered many fields of research and academic similarities. 

    As Prof. Wang said, many students of Department of Social Policy and Social Work are interested in the culture and studying aboard of South Korea, we are looking forward to seeing different possibility in cooperation with Sahmyook University. Dean Chen also elaborates that the two sides’ mutual intension toward cooperation in terms of cultural exchange, academic research, joint publication and new initiation. Substantial research cooperation will be the common interests of NCNU and Sahmyook University.

Dean Chen welcomed the delegations of his greatest appreciation about future collaborations and said: “We look forward to the collaboration between SU and NCNU.”
